 An historical note...

At the foot of the historical site of château-Gaillard built by William the Lion Hearted.

La Berverie is an old brick and half-timbered mansion house, right in the center of the old town, immediately close to the famous restaurant la Chaîne d'or and the Saint Sauveur Church, its garden  is overlooking the river Seine. The path underneath ( part of the GR2) is very famous, everyone loves to walk on it, looking at the ducks ans barges...

It’s location  in an exceptionnal beauty spot with the loop of the river Seine  endows it with a diversified environment, shared between tourist attractions and traditional Normandy.

From the urban facilities available (restaurants, shops, public swimming pool, and tennis courts in the vicinity; train station 10km away), to the pleasures of country life (hiking, rock climbing, golf course, sailing and equestrian centres), La Berverie also offers the advantage of close proximity to Paris (100km), Rouen (50km) and Giverny (30km).
